La Maison Vairet was born following a friendship and an understanding between two people - Eric Vairet and Damien Gachot, childhood friends. They've always had a passion for wine. Moreover, Eric has been vinifying the wines of the Gachot-Monot estate since 1994, helping to build the acclaim of it's famous wines.
It was natural that they wanted to go further, and so they created a negociant with the aim of offering their customers and friends the best Burgundy wines at an excellent quality and price. By combining the experience of Damien Gachot and the passion of Eric Vairet, Maison Vairet combines seriousness and quality in all the bottlings it offers.
Bourgogne Aligoté - 100% Aligoté
Bourgogne Aligoté is a regional appellation, representing around 3% to 5% of the areas planted in AOC Burgundy. A light white, Bourgogne Aligoté has a color with gold and green reflections; its little tangy hint totally reflects the appellation. It will perfectly accompany salads and fish. Combine with crème de cassis for the classic Kir cocktail!
